If we are so concerned about our finances---why do we continue to have major capital expansion at all three hospital campuses?

Kevin B. Mahoney
Vice Dean for Integrative Services; SVP & Chief Administrative Officer;
Exec. Dir., Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine; Associate Senior Exec., CCA
Our future is dependent upon making careful choices about growing our business to secure a brighter future.  We cannot
simply cut enough expenses to balance our finances. We need cost-cutting and prudent investments. Over the past several years, we have realized business growth and favorable financial performance through the construction of the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine, Roberts Proton Therapy and the Practices of the Future at Valley Forge, Bucks County, and Woodbury.

We intend to continue our investments in selected capital expansion initiatives that yield similar results to grow selected programs—including our ongoing efforts to advance clinical information technology for improving patient outcomes.
