As a member of the Penn Medicine community, what can I do to help support our efforts in securing a strong financial position now and in the future?

We need each member of the Penn Medicine Community to help us in this effort in accordance with the following guiding principles:
  • Function as an integrated entity—with a focus on the financial health of the entire organization;
  • Engage in continuous process improvement---eliminating wastes and redundancy in processes;
  • Maintain a balanced budget while creating sufficient reserves to respond to strategic opportunities for long term growth; and
  • Carefully evaluate financial decisions and review with all key stakeholders before implementation.
